Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Salleh Mohd Nor

Born in Negeri Sembilan in 1940, Salleh had his early education in Kuala Pilah and at the Royal Military College Port Dickson before pursuing his tertiary education in forestry at Adelaide University, a Diploma in Photointerpretation in ITC Delft, and a Masters and PhD at Michigan State University. Salleh started his professional career as a Forest Inventory Officer and retired as Director General of the Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) in 1995. He was the first President of IUFRO from outside Europe and USA in 100 years history of IUFRO. Salleh was the Pro Chancellor of University Technology Malaysia (UTM). He was also the inaugural Chairman of the Board of University Malaysia Terengganu. He was the President of Malaysian Nature Society for 30 years.
He is Senior Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, Board member of the Sultan Mizan Antarctica Research Foundation and a member of the Board of UCSI University. He has been to Antarctica four times and the oldest Malaysian to hike to Everest Base Camp.

Professor Dr. Wong Ching-Yoong

He is a professor of economics at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Malaysia, specialising in international macroeconomics and development economics. He currently serves as an independent non-executive director cum the Board Chairman for GHS Holdings Bhd and the deputy Treasurer-general of Huazong. He writes a bi-weekly column for Nanyang Siang Pao, hosts a TV programme, and has been a regular resource person for the media.

As a not-for-profit organisation under the Ministry of Health, ProtectHealth works to make  healthcare more affordable, accessible, and value-driven for communities across Malaysia. The  organisation designs and implements innovative community health programmes that support  government initiatives to improve health outcomes, enhance patient experience, and strengthen  financial protection. Academician Professor Dato' Ir (Dr.) Lee Yee Cheong

Academician Dato’ Ir. (Dr.) Lee Yee Cheong is the Malaysian Honorary Chairman, International Science Technology and Innovation Centre for South-South Cooperation under the auspices of UNESCO (ISTIC), Kuala Lumpur; President, Academy of Engineering and Technology of the Developing World (AETDEW); Pro-Chancellor, Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur; Advisor to the President of UN Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN) Malaysia. President and now Distinguished Honorary Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia; Honorary President of Commonwealth Engineers Council (CEC); President of the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO); He was Commissioner of the UN Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development. He served with the National Electricity Board, Malaysia. He was CEO of Tenaga Ewbank Preece and later KTA Tenaga. He became a Partner of Ewbank Preece Consulting Group, UK.  He was Board Member of Energy Commission Malaysia and Board Director of UMW Holdings Berhad Malaysia. He was a board member of Board of Engineers Malaysia and Board of Architects Malaysia. He is founding Secretary General of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia; the founding President of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology; Foreign Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering; and Foreign Member of the Pan-American Academy of Engineering. former Member of the National Economic and Social Council Kenya. He was awarded the International Prize for South-South Cooperation of the UN Office for South-South Cooperation; the Jang Young Sil Grand International Science and Culture Prize, Korea; the Malaysian State Awards of DPMP and KMN and the Honorary Officer in the Order of Australia (AO), Lifetime Achievement Award, Balai Ikhtisas Malaysia.

Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh earned his Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology from the University  of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, in 2002. Prior to that, he served at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and  Hospital Kangar as an ENT Clinical Specialist, and later as Lecturer and ENT Specialist at the  University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). Since 2007, he has been serving as Consultant  ENT Surgeon at Prince Court Medical Centre (PCMC).

An active member of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) since 1996, Datuk Dr. Kuljit  Singh has contributed extensively at both state and national levels, including serving as  Honorary General Secretary from 2013 to 2014. His professional engagements extend  internationally, having conducted meetings and delivered presentations across ASEAN  countries, building strong networks with leading ENT specialists in the region and beyond.

He served as President of the Malaysian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists in 2007 and was  recognized with meritorious awards by the society. A pioneer in minimally invasive sinus  surgery, he has recently advanced the use of Imaging Guidance Systems in navigating  complex sinus procedures.

Currently, Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh is the Medical Director at Prince Court Medical Centre  (PCMC), Kuala Lumpur. He also holds the positions of President of the Association of Private  Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) and President of the Asian Hospital Federation (AHF). His enduring  passion is to advance healthcare for the people of Malaysia.

Raja Singham

Raja Singham has spent more than 30 years in education, working to make learning more accessible, relevant and meaningful. He is the Founder, Managing Director and Chief Future Officer of the BAC Education Group, where he has helped build a network of over 25 education-related entities focused on preparing students for the realities of today’s world.


His approach has always been practical. He believes education should go beyond qualifications to help individuals build confidence, adaptability and real-world skills. This thinking led to the “LEARN Different” philosophy, which brings together learning, work, play and impact to create a more holistic experience for students. Over the years, Raja has also focused on widening access to education. He has been involved in initiatives that support upskilling and reskilling, particularly for students, graduates and underserved communities. Platforms such as BACFlix and other digital efforts were developed with the aim of making education more inclusive and accessible.


Beyond education, he is actively involved in social impact work. Through Uplift Malaysia, the Make It Right Movement and other initiatives, he supports a wide range of causes, including education, community development and digital inclusion. At a regional level, he has served as a Lead Mentor for the ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN) and was previously involved with the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Malaysia. He has also contributed to national policy discussions as a TN50 Circle Expert, focusing on the future of work, skills and value creation.

Raja currently serves as Pro-Chancellor of the University Malaysia of Computer Science & Engineering (UNIMY), is a member of the Board of Governors at Veritas University College and is an Executive Director at Shopper360. He has received several awards for his contributions to education and social impact, including recognition as Education Man of the Year by the Brand Laureate. He is also a regular speaker at conferences, where he shares his perspectives on education, leadership and the role of technology in learning. At the core of his work is a simple belief that education, when done right, can open doors and create opportunities for individuals and communities.

Azrul Mohd Khalib

With a background in genetics and public health policy, Azrul has worked as a health development and programme policy specialist for more than 25 years. He has extensive experience working on strategic health system issues related to access to healthcare, sexual reproductive health, HIV and AIDS, gender-based violence, and humanitarian assistance.
Azrul is currently the CEO of the Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy. and co-founder of the CodeBlue health news website. He is a co-presenter with BFM 89.9’s Health & Living programme.

Kenneth Chan

Kenneth Chan is the CEO of Webull Securities Malaysia, a subsidiary of Webull Corporation. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he is responsible for providing direction and leadership, and driving innovative growth plans for Webull Malaysia.

 

In a career spanning 18 years in the banking and finance industry, Kenneth has a wealth of industry experience in areas such as foreign exchange trading, asset management, and product and market development. Kenneth has a special interest in retail democratisation and leading development efforts which deliver societal benefits. Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato' Dzulkifli Abdul Razak

Dzulkifli Abdul Razak is an Emeritus Professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia and an Adjunct Professor in the University of Malaysia, Sarawak. He is a trained pharmacist and pharmacologist and was a Member of the WHO Expert Advisory Panel on Drug Policy and Management. He was Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia, Albukhary International University and Rector of the International Islamic University Malaysia. He advocates sustainable and values-driven higher education and has played significant roles in shaping higher education reform and sustainability discourse, nationally and internationally. He is widely recognised for promoting the concept of Sejahtera, a holistic philosophy of development integrating sustainability, ethical governance, cultural wisdom and human well-being. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (FASc), Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science (FWAAS) and Honorary Fellow of the Malaysian Pharmacist Society (FMPS). He was awarded the 2017 National Academic Laureate.

Dato' Professor Dr. Tengku Aizan

Dato Dr. Tengku Aizan Hamid is a Malaysian thought leader in population ageing, longevity, and social policy, with over three decades of pioneering contributions to gerontology research, ageing policy, retirement security, and long-term care development in Asia. She holds a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies with a multidisciplinary minor in Gerontology from Iowa State University.

She founded the Institute of Gerontology, Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2002 and led its transformation into the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing in 2015. She currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Private Pension Administrator Malaysia and Head of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia Mission-Oriented Initiative on Ageing Society. She is also an Expert Resource Person for the ASEAN Centre for Ageing Innovation and a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, The World Academy of Sciences, and the Islamic Academy of Sciences

Professor Dr. Shamsuddin Jusop

Dr Shamshuddin Jusop is a professional geologist (P.Geol.), working as a soil scientist in UPM for 48 years, beginning in 1972. He was Professor of Soil Science for 22 years. He is still with the university, working as a volunteer (Amal Putra). The Past President of the Malaysian Society of Soil Science (MSSS) as well as the Past President of the East and Southeast Asia Federation of Soil Science Societies (ESAFS), his main contribution to agriculture are in the area of soil mineralogy, soil chemistry and crop production – i.e., rice, maize, cocoa, rubber and oil palm. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (FASc) and an Honorary Member of the Royal Academy for Overseas Sciences (RAOS) of Belgium.

Dato' Dr. Hartini Zainudin

Hartini Zainudin is a child rights activist in Malaysia, renowned for her advocacy and leadership in protecting the welfare of marginalized children. She co-founded ‘Yayasan Chow Kit’ , the first 24-hour, one-stop child crisis center in Malaysia, which provides critical support to vulnerable children. Additionally, Hartini serves as the Vice President of  ‘Voice of the Children’, an NGO dedicated to advocacy, law and policy reforms, and training on children's issues. She is currently working on establishing a new NGO called ‘Madhya’s Gift’  that will provide better access to health services to marginalised sick children who are underserved and underinsured,’ in Malaysia.

She has worked extensively with international organizations, including UNICEF, Save the Children, China, UNRWA and UNHCR where she has contributed to initiatives aimed at enhancing fundraising initiatives, child protection and welfare. She has also conducted fundraising training with UNHCR Global, leveraging her expertise to mobilize resources for humanitarian causes. Her policy work includes serving on national task forces related to child protection and welfare, focusing on critical issues such as child trafficking and statelessness. Hartini has been invited to attend NGO and community workshops with ICC prosecutors in The Hague and Geneva on the child witness process and trafficking issues, providing child rights and child protection insights to ensure that justice systems are child-sensitive and effective.

Hartini's expertise has been featured in prominent media outlets, including Al Jazeera's 101 East, where she addressed complex issues such as baby selling. She is a prolific writer on child rights and protection, contributing to various publications and advocating for policy reforms that prioritize the well-being of children. Her commitment to ensuring the rights and safety of children is unwavering, and she continues to be a leading voice in this field, inspiring change through her work and advocacy.

 

She currently works as a fundraising consultant for Give. Asia that’s based in Singapore and Anera.org which provides humanitarian relief and development  programmes to Palestinian refugees in the Middle East.

 

Tini, as she’s commonly called, has just published her first children’s illustration book, “The Foundling” that highlights the issues of abandoned babies, statelessness and adoption in Malaysia.

Dr. Khor Swee Kheng

Dr Khor Swee Kheng is a Malaysian physician specializing in health systems, based between Hong Kong and Malaysia. Currently, he is CEO of Angsana Health (digital-first integrated health plans for SMEs in Southeast Asia) and Honorary Assistant Professor in Hong Kong University. He has a 20-year career in medicine, pharma, think-tanks and academia, based in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Dubai, Shanghai, Paris, Oxford and Hong Kong, covering >90 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Previous organizations include the Malaysian Health Ministry, Abbott Laboratories, AbbVie, Chatham House, United Nations University, the National University of Singapore and consulting projects to the WHO, ADB, FIND and the Wellcome Trust. He has three postgraduate degrees, in internal medicine from the Royal College of Physicians UK, public health from UC Berkeley and public policy from Oxford, and >210 publications in international academic journals, media and think-tanks.

Prof. Ts. Dr. Mai Chun Wai

Prof. Chun Wai Mai is a Professor at IMU University, serving as Deputy Director of Research Strategy & Innovation and Head of the Centre for Cancer and Stem Cell Research. His core research focuses on cell biology and translational medicine. He has led over 60 research grants (> total RM3.2 million), published >100 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and won numerous national and international awards. A chartered scientist, he holds key roles such as Vice President II of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society and Chairperson of YSN-ASM, driving policy and global collaborations. His work bridges academia-industry to deliver affordable, accessible healthcare for low-resource settings.

Dr. Khairul Hafidz

Dr. Khairul Hafidz Alkhair bin Khairul Amin is a public health physician and healthcare leader with extensive experience in health systems strengthening, quality improvement, clinical governance, and professional development. He is actively involved in national initiatives related to healthcare quality, audit systems, risk-based management, and continuous professional development (CPD) for medical practitioners in Malaysia.


He currently serves in leadership and advisory roles involving policy development, healthcare standards, and professional ethics, including contributions to guidelines on dissemination of medical information and social media professionalism. Dr. Khairul is also experienced in developing audit frameworks, KPI monitoring systems, and quality assessment tools for healthcare facilities.
In addition to his public health work, he is actively engaged in medical education and professional training through webinars, conferences, and collaborative learning platforms. His interests include healthcare governance, digital health systems, healthcare quality, competency development, and strengthening evidence-based public health practice.
